Frequently asked questions

What is INC-20A?

It is the Declaration of Commencement of Business. It must be filed within 180 days of incorporation, proving that the subscribers have deposited their share capital into the company bank account. Failing this, the company will be struck off.

Do LLPs have to file the same forms?

No. LLPs file Form 11 (Annual Return) by May 30th and Form 8 (Statement of Accounts) by October 30th.

What are event-based filings?
